This is second time utilizing the services of Hunza Explorers (the first was a K-2 Trek). Karim was amazing and found a way to accomodate my journey. One hour flight from Islamabad to Gilgit. My guide turned out to be Aziz who was on the Baltoro trip. Off we went - the first two nights were at Eagle's Nest overlooking Karimbad in the Hunza Valley. All I can say is : Wow! The colors are just beginning to change and today is crytal clear. Rather than wait till trip end....I can highly recommend a trip to Hunza with Hunza Explorers.

My wife and I utilized the services of Hunza Explorers on a six-day tour of the Hunza Valley region of Pakistan in May. Our personable guide and our skillful mountain driver were both born and raised in the area. They had intimate knowledge of the areas and people where and with whom we visited. They went above and beyond by anticipating potential scheduling issues in advance, adjusting accordingly and made sure that we got to where we needed to go, when we needed to be there. Some of the highlights of our visit were places that the typical tourist would not experience; from a inspirational school to an authentic homestay. Amazing Pakistan spring tour I went on a spring tour with Hunza explorer to visit Pakistan in April. The tour was wonderful and was 1 of the best tours we ever did. Best tour of 2019 We did a Blossom Tour with Hunza Explorer and couldn’t ask for more. This is the first time when we went on travel without having to plan on anything, we contacted H.E to let them know where we would like to go and were told these places will all be covered within the Blossom Tour; so all we needed to do is book the tour and the flight, as soon as we landed, they have already arranged for someone to pick us up from the airport and took care of everything else. We were looked after during the entire trip and never have to worry about anything including meals. I highly recommend the Hunza Explorer and doing tours provided by the Company while you are in Pakistan as it wasn’t easy to travel by yourself, you have to go pass many different severity control and fill in paperwork in local language. During the tour we got to see many magnificent landscape including the famous Himalayas mountain range. The people we met in Pakistan were very friendly and welcoming tourist, the food was amazing although could be a little spicy. We also felt the country to be safe and peaceful especially in the Northern area. After the tour we have learnt a lot about Pakistan which if we decided to do it on our own, we wouldnt be able to know and see as much. So I highly recommend Hunza Explorer.

Very good travel agency in Pakistan Based on their very positive tripadvisor reviews, we booked a 11-day tour to Hunza valley form Islamabad. I found the service and response of this travel agency to be excellent. Easily 5-stars. My emails were promptly responded to, and everyone showed up when they were supposed to. The amount they charged for our trip seemed like very good value.

Will never forget this trip We just got back from our trip to the north of Pakistan. We visited Fairy Meadows, Hunza and Phandar valley. For us, the nature lover, north Pakistan is the best choice with beautiful snow mountains, majestic Karakoram highway, Swiss-like Fairy Meadows and untouched beauty of Hunza, Phandar valley. Hunza Fall 2019 tour is one of my most successful trips. This trip has been carefully prepared by Hunza Explorers, they will pick you up from the airport and take you to the airport when you leave, if you need anything, you can tell them, they will be willing to help you with the best. I contacted several Pakistan local tour operators after did some research in TripAdvisor and Karim from Hunza Explorers was the first to respond (almost immediately!) through Whatsapp. After discussing what I wanted to see and cover, he came up with a personalized itinerary and reasonable price. In between, I asked many questions and made numerous changes as i discovered more about Hunza areas, which he patiently answered and accommodated without extra fees. Our personalized tour is 15 days long and covered Fairy Meadows, Passu, Hunza Valley, Nagar/Hoper Valley, Naltar Valley and Gupis/Yasin/Phander valleys. We were assigned a tour guide and a driver. Both are very professional, helpful and polite throughout the trip. Especially our tour guide (Sultan), he really went all out to ensure all our needs and wishes are met. He helped 'opened to door' for us to interact with locals such as invited to wedding ceremony and local folks' houses for tea. He was always there to ensure we are safe (I can't say for whole of Pakistan but for the areas that we visited, we never once feel concerned about safety at all). Even there were times I told him I can walk around myself and woke up really early for photography sunrise, he will still be there, though maintaining a comfortable distance away so as not to encroach into my personal space. All in all, I'm very happy with the services provided by Hunza Explorers team, and won't hesitate to engage them for another visit (probably for spring season next time). Both Karim and Sultan are local guys grew up in Upper Hunza so their knowledge of surrounding areas and people network are invaluable throughout the journey. Last but not least, thanks to Karim for the "local Hunza water" treat!

Whenever I have a question, the representative of Hunza .Explorer responds immediately, responds to all schedule changes very quickly, supports fast visa application and does not charge money. The local guide was so enthusiastic, volunteering to take us for coffee in the evening, outside of working hours, and without extra money, helping us pay the price when buying and choosing good food when my group cook by yourself. The driver drove very admirably on the tiny, zigzag mountain roads, as if he had run hundreds of kilometers every day. I like to open the car window to see the scenery, once the driver was observant when I reached out with the intention of shaking hands with two children on the road, he slowed down, then stopped, let me catch their hands without complaining. And the driver also accepted to run overtime when we requested to change the schedule, without requiring wages.

Hunza is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Hunza people are also great, well-educated and very kind. Hunza Explorers team is very reliable and they are always eager to share experiences with the guests. Highly recommended!

This trip is not only safe, it is one of the most friendly countries which I've been. Everyone here welcome us throughout the trip, especially the Hunza people. For nine days traveling with Hunza Explorers, we were taken good care, served with good food, good accommodation, and taken to the best places for photography. The experienced guide Riaz and skillful driver Shafique were happy to stop at any place we wanted to take photos. The last day when all other people had left, only me with Riaz and Shafique, they took me around, having tea, dinner, city tour until mid night as my flight was 3am. I did not want them to waste their time for only me and said I could go to the airport early, so that they could go home with their family soon, but they did not agree. They treated me so well and I don't thinh I can say enough thank-you! Will come back Hunza with you guys Hunza Explorers!

Based on their very positive tripadvisor reviews, we booked a 11-days tour to Hunza valley with Hunza Explorers and used them to arrange our overland car transport from Sost to Tashkurgan. I found the service and response of this travel agency to be excellent. Easily 5-stars. My emails were promptly responded to, and everyone showed up when they were supposed to. The amount charged for my trip seemed like very good value. The guide was friendly and courteous. The 5 am sunrise at Duiker is a bit ridiculous (my favorite shots are of the bugs and some other tourists snapping photos), but I'd do it again "for the experience." I highly recommend this tour agency.
