Upon arrival in Saidu Sharif / Mingora, we transfer to the hotel and check in.

In the evening, we visit either Fizagat Park along the scenic Swat River or explore the historic Butkara Stupa, one of the most important Buddhist sites in Swat Valley, known for its ancient relics and archaeological significance.

Today, we continue our journey deeper into the beautiful Swat Valley, driving towards the peaceful mountain retreat of Miandam.

Upon arrival in Miandam Valley, we check in at the hotel and settle into the calm surroundings of pine-covered hills and fresh mountain air.

In the afternoon, you may take a light walk through the upper slopes of Miandam, enjoying forest trails, valley views, and the peaceful atmosphere of this hill station. Alternatively, you can simply relax at the hotel and take in the wide mountain scenery, surrounded by greenery and silence that defines the charm of Swat’s highlands.

Today, we continue our journey deeper into the upper reaches of Swat Valley, driving from Miandam towards the famous mountain town of Kalam.

The route follows the beautiful Swat River, offering continuous views of lush green valleys, forested slopes, and traditional mountain settlements. En route, we stop at Madyan to visit the well-known trout fish farm, a peaceful spot surrounded by river scenery and cool mountain air.

We also pass through the scenic area of Bahrain, a charming riverside town where the Swat River splits into two branches, creating a striking natural landscape.

By afternoon, we arrive in Kalam Valley and transfer to the hotel. The evening is free at leisure, allowing you to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain atmosphere of one of the most beautiful valleys in northern Pakistan.

Today, we enjoy a full-day excursion from Kalam Valley into one of the most breathtaking regions of Swat Valley, exploring the untouched natural beauty of Ushu Valley, Matiltan, and Mahodand Lake.

We begin the journey by driving through the scenic landscapes of Ushu Valley, surrounded by dense pine forests, alpine streams, and towering mountains. The route continues towards Matiltan, a high-altitude valley known for its glaciers, waterfalls, and dramatic mountain scenery.

Later, we proceed to the stunning Mahodand Lake, one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in Pakistan. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, green meadows, and crystal-clear water, the lake offers a peaceful and unforgettable mountain experience.

After spending time at Mahodand Lake, we return to Kalam Valley in the evening for overnight stay, surrounded by the serene atmosphere of the Swat highlands.

We then cross the iconic Lowari Tunnel / Lowari Pass, the main gateway connecting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Chitral District, offering a dramatic transition into a completely different mountain environment.

After entering Chitral Valley, we pass through several small villages along the way, each reflecting the unique culture and lifestyle of the region.

By evening, we arrive in Chitral Town and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the valley.

Today, we drive from Chitral Town towards the remote and scenic valley of Garam Chashma, one of the most unique destinations in the Chitral District.

We continue our journey deeper into the valley, following mountain roads surrounded by dramatic cliffs, rivers, and traditional settlements.

Today, we depart from Garam Chashma and begin our journey towards the culturally unique Kalash Valley, home of the indigenous Kalasha people in the Chitral District.

We drive back through scenic mountain roads towards Chitral Town, where we pause for lunch and enjoy the atmosphere of the valley center. Along the way, we also stop in selected villages for photography, capturing traditional mountain life, wooden architecture, and the surrounding landscapes of the Hindu Kush region.

After lunch, we continue our drive towards Bumburat Valley, the largest and most famous of the Kalash valleys, known for its green terraced fields, flowing rivers, and dramatic mountain backdrop.

Upon arrival in Bumburat, we transfer to the hotel and settle in, surrounded by the unique cultural and natural beauty of the Kalash Valleys.

Today is dedicated to exploring the unique cultural landscape of Bumburat Valley in the heart of the Kalash Valleys, home to the indigenous Kalasha people.

We spend the day visiting traditional Kalasha villages, where wooden houses, terraced fields, and mountain scenery create a truly distinctive cultural setting. Here, you will have the opportunity to meet Kalasha families, learn about their traditions, and observe their way of life, which has been preserved for centuries.

We continue to Karakal Village, one of the most scenic settlements in the valley, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valley landscapes.

Later, we visit the historic Kalasha Graveyard, a culturally significant site reflecting the ancient beliefs and heritage of the Kalasha community.

Today, we continue deeper into the Kalash Valleys, traveling from Bumburat Valley to the peaceful and less-visited Rumbur Valley, home to one of the most authentic Kalasha communities.

The journey follows narrow mountain roads, passing through pine-covered slopes, rivers, and terraced fields, with beautiful views of the Hindu Kush Mountains throughout the drive.

Upon arrival in Rumbur Valley, we check in at the guesthouse and settle into the calm surroundings of this remote mountain village.

Later in the day, we walk through the village and spend time with Kalasha families, learning about their daily routines, traditional wooden homes, and long-preserved way of life that continues to define this unique valley.

The rest of the day is free to relax and absorb the quiet atmosphere of Rumbur Valley, surrounded by untouched nature and living heritage.

The route takes us through winding mountain roads, passing traditional villages, rivers, and terraced fields that reflect the quiet lifestyle of this high-altitude region.

En route, we stop at Bunni and other small villages of Upper Chitral, where traditional wooden houses and valley views offer a glimpse into everyday life in the Hindu Kush mountains.

We continue our drive through changing landscapes of rugged cliffs and green valleys before gradually entering the more remote region of Mastuj.

Upon arrival in Mastuj, we transfer to the hotel for overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful and dramatic scenery of northern Chitral.

Today, we leave Mastuj and begin one of the most scenic high-altitude drives of the journey, traveling towards Phandar Valley via the legendary Shandur Pass (3,700m).

As we ascend towards Shandur Pass, the landscape opens into vast alpine plateaus surrounded by snow-capped peaks, wide horizons, and dramatic mountain scenery. This region is famously known as the “Roof of the World” and is home to the world’s highest polo ground, where the traditional free-style polo festival is held every year.

We continue the drive across the high pass, enjoying uninterrupted views of remote valleys, glaciers, and rugged terrain that define this untouched part of northern Pakistan.

By afternoon, we descend into the serene beauty of Phandar Valley, also known for its crystal-clear river, lush meadows, and peaceful mountain environment. Alternatively, we may reach Gupis, depending on the route and schedule.

Upon arrival, we transfer to the hotel for overnight stay, surrounded by the calm and scenic landscapes of Phandar / Gupis Valley.

Today, we depart from Phandar / Gupis Valley and begin our journey back towards the majestic Upper Hunza (Gojal Valley), traveling once again through the scenic routes of northern Pakistan.

As we drive along the historic corridor of the Karakoram Highway, we pass through landscapes shaped by glaciers, rivers, and towering peaks, following sections of the ancient Silk Route that once connected traders and travelers across the mountains.

Today we set out for an unforgettable full-day journey to the legendary Khunjerab Pass (4,693m), the world’s highest paved international border crossing, connecting Pakistan with China along the majestic Karakoram Highway.

As we ascend towards Khunjerab National Park, the landscape transforms into vast high-altitude terrain, where snow-capped peaks, open plateaus, and dramatic mountain vistas create a truly surreal experience. Along the way, we pass through the protected wildlife region of the national park, known for sightings of ibex, marmots, and other high-altitude species.

Upon reaching Khunjerab Pass, we spend time at the border area, where the grandeur of the Karakoram meets the frontier between two nations. The surrounding views of endless mountains and alpine wilderness make this one of the most iconic highlights of northern Pakistan.

On our return journey, we visit the town of Sost, the last major settlement before the border, followed by scenic stops in the traditional villages of Khudaabad, Moorkhun, Gulapur, and Khyber, each offering glimpses into life along the upper reaches of Gojal Valley.

By evening, we return to Upper Hunza, concluding a remarkable day at the “Roof of the World.”

Today we depart from Ghulkin / Gulmit / Passu and begin our journey towards Karimabad, traveling through the scenic landscapes of Nagar Valley along the Karakoram Highway.

En route, we visit the spectacular Hopper Valley, a dramatic mountain region known for its sweeping views, traditional settlements, and the impressive Hopper Glacier. From selected viewpoints, the glacier reveals striking contrasts of ice, rock, and valley greenery, creating a powerful mountain panorama.

We continue towards the historic Ganish Village, one of the oldest settlements in Hunza Valley, where traditional architecture, ancient watchtowers, and cultural heritage reflect the deep history of life along the old Silk Route.

By afternoon, we arrive in Karimabad, the cultural heart of Hunza, surrounded by towering peaks and terraced landscapes. After check-in, there is time to move around the town and experience its vibrant local atmosphere.

Today we depart from Gulmit / Passu and begin a scenic and adventurous drive towards the remote Shimshal Valley, one of the most isolated and breathtaking regions in Upper Hunza (Gojal Valley).

The route follows rugged mountain roads, dramatic gorges, and river crossings, offering continuous views of the wild and untouched landscapes of the Karakoram Range. As we move deeper into the valley, the surroundings become increasingly dramatic, with towering cliffs, glacier-fed streams, and wide-open mountain vistas.

Upon arrival in Shimshal Valley, we take time to move through selected areas of the village and surrounding viewpoints. The valley is known for its traditional Wakhi settlements, unique high-altitude lifestyle, and extraordinary natural setting surrounded by peaks and glaciers.

The rest of the day is spent in the peaceful atmosphere of Shimshal Valley, absorbing the raw beauty and isolation of one of the most remote inhabited valleys in northern Pakistan.

This morning, we spend time in the remote Chipurson Valley, one of the most isolated and highest settlements in the Upper Hunza (Gojal Valley) region, close to the border with Afghanistan.

We take a relaxed morning to move through selected village areas and nearby viewpoints, absorbing the silence and raw beauty of this high-altitude frontier landscape. The valley reflects a strong traditional Wakhi mountain culture, shaped by its remoteness and extreme geography.

By midday, we begin our return journey towards Gulmit / Passu, retracing the dramatic mountain roads of Upper Hunza. The route offers continuous views of rugged cliffs, river valleys, and distant glacier-fed peaks along the Karakoram Range.

In the evening, we arrive back in Gulmit / Passu, where we check into the hotel and rest after a full day in one of the most remote regions of northern Pakistan.

Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural heart of Central Hunza, the historic town of Karimabad, surrounded by some of the most iconic peaks of the Karakoram Range.

We begin with a visit to the majestic Baltit Fort, a centuries-old landmark that reflects the royal heritage and architectural legacy of the former Hunza state. From here, sweeping views of the valley and surrounding mountains set the tone for the day.

We continue to the beautifully preserved Altit Fort and the serene Royal Garden, one of the oldest settlements in Hunza, where traditional architecture and cultural history come together in a peaceful mountain setting.

Later, we spend time at the vibrant Karimabad Local Bazaar, known for its traditional crafts, gemstones, local products, and everyday mountain life, offering a strong cultural experience of the valley.

In the evening, we drive up to Duikar (Eagle’s Nest) viewpoint to witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in northern Pakistan. From here, panoramic views open across Rakaposhi, Diran Peak, Golden Peak, Ultar Sar, Ladyfinger Peak, and the entire Hunza Valley, glowing in the warm evening light.

Today we depart from Karimabad and begin our scenic journey towards Skardu, traveling along one of the most dramatic mountain routes in northern Pakistan.

The drive follows the winding road carved alongside the mighty Indus River, offering continuous views of deep gorges, rugged cliffs, and remote mountain villages scattered along the valley. En route, we make short stops in select villages to experience the local lifestyle and capture the changing landscapes of the region.

We continue towards the serene Upper Kachura Lake, a hidden alpine gem known for its crystal-clear waters, pine forests, and peaceful mountain surroundings. The lake offers a perfect stop for photography and relaxation amidst nature.

By afternoon, we arrive in Skardu, the gateway to some of the highest peaks in the world. Upon arrival, we transfer to the hotel and settle in for an overnight stay in the heart of Baltistan.

Today we depart from Skardu and travel towards the historic town of Khaplu, passing through some of the most culturally rich and scenic landscapes of Baltistan.

En route, we visit the iconic Shigar Fort, a beautifully restored heritage landmark that reflects the royal history and architectural elegance of the region. From here, we continue through the lush and fertile Shigar Valley, known for its orchards, traditional villages, and stunning mountain backdrop.

Along the way, we also pass through small and picturesque villages of the Skardu Valley, where everyday life unfolds against the dramatic scenery of the Karakoram Range.

By afternoon, we arrive in Khaplu, a peaceful historic town surrounded by towering peaks and glacier-fed landscapes. Upon arrival, we transfer to the hotel for overnight stay in the cultural heart of Ghanche District.

Today is dedicated to exploring the timeless beauty and cultural heritage of Khaplu Valley, one of the most historic settlements in Baltistan, surrounded by dramatic peaks of the Karakoram Range.

Today we leave the vast wilderness of Deosai Plains and begin a scenic descent towards the lush green valleys of northern Pakistan, heading in the direction of the iconic Fairy Meadows.

En route, we pass through the beautiful Astore Valley, where rivers, pine forests, and traditional mountain settlements create a refreshing contrast to the high-altitude landscapes of Deosai. We continue towards the serene Rama Lake, a peaceful alpine lake surrounded by dense forests and snow-capped peaks, offering a perfect stop for photography and relaxation.

By afternoon, we drive towards Raikot Bridge, the gateway to Nanga Parbat (8,126m), where we transfer into

local jeeps for a thrilling off-road ride towards Tattu Village.

From Tattu, we begin a short guided trek through pine forests and alpine trails leading to the legendary Fairy Meadows, one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in the world facing the north face of Nanga Parbat.

Upon arrival, we check in to traditional wooden huts and settle in for an overnight stay surrounded by the peaceful alpine environment and towering mountain scenery.

Today is dedicated to a memorable hike from Fairy Meadows towards the mighty Nanga Parbat Base Camp or the scenic viewpoint at Beyal Camp, one of the most spectacular trekking routes in northern Pakistan.

The trail passes through dense alpine forests, open meadows, and rocky mountain terrain, with continuous views of the towering north face of Nanga Parbat (8,126m). Along the way, the landscape opens up to dramatic valleys and glacier-fed streams, offering an immersive high-mountain experience.

After spending time at Beyal Camp or the base camp viewpoint area, we begin our return journey back to Fairy Meadows, retracing the scenic alpine trail.

In the evening, we relax around the famous Reflection Lake at Fairy Meadows, where the calm waters beautifully mirror the surrounding peaks. As the sun sets behind Nanga Parbat, the entire valley transforms into warm golden tones, creating one of the most unforgettable moments of the journey.

Today we begin our descent from Fairy Meadows, trekking down through the scenic forest trail back to Tattu Village, surrounded by alpine landscapes and views of the mighty Nanga Parbat.

From Tattu, we take jeeps down to Raikot Bridge, where we reconnect with the legendary Karakoram Highway and continue the journey by road.

We then drive either towards Besham via the Karakoram Highway, following the dramatic route along the Indus River through deep gorges and mountain valleys, or, if open, we proceed towards Naran Valley via Babusar Pass (4,173m), crossing one of the highest mountain passes in Pakistan with breathtaking alpine scenery.

En route, we enjoy continuous views of changing landscapes—from rugged mountain terrain to green valleys and river systems—marking the transition from the high north towards lower regions.

By evening, we arrive at the selected destination (Besham or Naran) and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay, concluding the journey through northern Pakistan’s most iconic landscapes.

Today we begin our journey back towards Islamabad, marking the final stretch of the expedition through northern Pakistan.

En route, we visit the historic region of Taxila, one of the most important archaeological landscapes in South Asia and a key center of the ancient Gandhara Civilization. We explore the Taxila Museum, home to a remarkable collection of Buddhist artifacts, sculptures, and relics that reflect centuries of cultural and spiritual history.

We also visit selected Taxila heritage sites, recognized as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, where ancient ruins, stupas, and monastic remains offer a powerful glimpse into the region’s Buddhist past.

After the visit, we continue our drive towards Islamabad, passing through the scenic Potohar Plateau landscapes.

Upon arrival in Islamabad, we check in and later explore the local bazaars, where modern city life meets traditional culture, offering a relaxed evening to conclude the journey.

Today is dedicated to discovering the vibrant contrast of the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, where modern architecture, cultural heritage, and traditional bazaars come together.

We begin the day with a visit to the iconic Shah Faisal Mosque, one of the largest mosques in South Asia, set against the backdrop of the Margalla Hills. We then continue to the impressive Pakistan Monument, symbolizing national unity and offering panoramic views of the capital.

Our journey continues to the Lok Virsa Museum, where the cultural heritage of Pakistan comes alive through traditional arts, crafts, music, and historical exhibits.

We also visit the charming heritage village of Saeedpur, a restored Mughal-era settlement that blends history with scenic hillside surroundings.

Later, we cross into Rawalpindi to experience the lively atmosphere of Raja Bazaar, a bustling traditional market filled with colors, sounds, and everyday local life.

In the evening, we drive up towards the Margalla Hills, where we enjoy dinner in a peaceful natural setting overlooking the city lights of Islamabad. After dinner, we return to the hotel for overnight stay in Islamabad.
