Upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your flight arrival time, you will have time to rest and recover from your journey.

If time permits, you may explore the surroundings independently before the group gathers for a tour briefing and an introduction to the journey ahead. Your guide will provide an overview of the route, seasonal conditions and the experiences awaiting you as you travel towards Swat Valley and Hunza Valley during Pakistan’s spring season.

After breakfast, we drive from Islamabad towards Swat Valley, travelling through the scenic landscapes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. En route, we visit the ancient Buddhist Monastery of Takht-i-Bahi, one of the best-preserved Buddhist monastic complexes in Pakistan and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the archaeological remains and learn about the site's importance within the ancient Gandhara Buddhist tradition.

After the visit, continue towards Swat Valley, following the route through the surrounding mountains and valleys. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Today is dedicated to discovering the cultural heritage and beautiful spring scenery of Swat Valley. After breakfast, explore the valley's historic sites and scenic surroundings while enjoying the fresh greenery, blooming fruit trees and colourful spring flowers that bring the valley to life during the blossom season.

Visit Butkara Stupa, an important Buddhist archaeological site associated with the ancient Gandhara civilisation. The remains of the stupa and surrounding monastic complex reflect Swat's importance as a centre of Buddhist culture and learning.

Continue through the valley, passing traditional villages, green hillsides and areas of spring blossom. Depending on the seasonal conditions and the location of the blooms, there will be opportunities to photograph flowering trees, spring flowers, mountain landscapes and local village life.

Spend the afternoon enjoying more of Swat's blossom-filled scenery, with time for photography and relaxed exploration before returning to the hotel.

After breakfast, leave Swat Valley and travel towards Chilas through the spectacular mountain landscapes of northern Pakistan. The route climbs towards Shangla Pass, a scenic mountain pass surrounded by forested slopes, rugged peaks and traditional mountain settlements. Enjoy the changing spring scenery as the valley landscapes gradually give way to the higher mountains.

Continue towards the Karakoram Highway, the legendary road linking Pakistan with China through some of the world's most dramatic mountain terrain. The journey follows the Indus River through deep valleys and rugged landscapes, with opportunities to stop for photographs and enjoy the scenery along the way.

Arrive in Chilas in the evening and check in to the hotel. Rest and prepare for the journey towards Hunza Valley the following day.

After breakfast, we continue our journey towards Hunza Valley, one of the most spectacular destinations in northern Pakistan. Today’s drive follows the legendary Karakoram Highway, with dramatic mountain scenery, deep river valleys and changing landscapes throughout the route.

Our first major stop is the Nanga Parbat View Point, offering an impressive view of Nanga Parbat, the ninth-highest mountain in the world. The mountain rises dramatically above the surrounding landscape and is one of the defining peaks of the western Himalayas.

We continue towards Junction Point, where the Himalayas, Karakoram and Hindu Kush mountain systems meet in the region around the Indus and Gilgit rivers. This remarkable landscape marks the transition towards the great mountain country of northern Pakistan.

Later, stop at the Rakaposhi View Point for lunch, with magnificent views of Rakaposhi, one of the most recognisable peaks of the Karakoram. During spring, the surrounding valleys begin to show fresh greenery and blooming fruit trees, creating a beautiful contrast with the snow-covered mountain.

After lunch, continue towards Upper Hunza, passing rivers, traditional mountain villages and increasingly dramatic spring landscapes. As we approach Passu, Gulmit or Ghulkin, enjoy views of flowering trees, mountain settlements and the towering peaks of Gojal.

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and relax amidst the spectacular surroundings of Upper Hunza.

Today is dedicated to exploring the spectacular landscapes of Upper Hunza, where towering Karakoram peaks, turquoise waters, traditional villages and spring blossoms come together to create one of the most beautiful settings in northern Pakistan.

After breakfast, we begin with a visit towards Passu Glacier, surrounded by dramatic peaks and rugged mountain landscapes. The glacier and its surrounding valleys provide an impressive view of the natural environment of Upper Hunza, with spring flowers and blooming fruit trees adding colour to the landscape during the blossom season.

We then continue towards Borith Lake, a peaceful high-altitude lake surrounded by mountains. Its calm waters and remote setting make it a beautiful place to enjoy the scenery and photograph the surrounding spring landscapes.

Next, visit the Hussaini Suspension Bridge, a traditional suspension bridge crossing the Hunza River. The bridge offers striking views of the river, surrounding mountains and the dramatic landscape of Gojal.

Continue to Gulmit, a historic Wakhi village and an important cultural centre of Upper Hunza. Explore its traditional streets, homes and local surroundings, with opportunities to experience village life and see blossoming trees and spring flowers during the season.

Visit the Gulmit Old House, a traditional heritage house that provides an insight into the architectural style and everyday life of earlier generations in the region.

Later, continue towards Ghulkin Village, a peaceful settlement surrounded by spectacular mountains and orchards. During spring, flowering trees bring additional colour to the village, creating excellent opportunities for photography and experiencing the seasonal beauty of Upper Hunza.

Return to the hotel in the evening and enjoy a relaxing night surrounded by the mountains of Gojal.

After breakfast, set out for a full-day excursion to Khunjerab Pass, the high-altitude mountain pass on the Pakistan–China border. The journey follows the Karakoram Highway through the spectacular landscapes of Upper Gojal, with towering peaks, deep valleys and vast mountain plateaus along the route.

The road passes through Khunjerab National Park, a protected high-altitude ecosystem known for its unique mountain environment and wildlife. Depending on the season and conditions, the journey may offer opportunities to observe the region's wildlife, while the surrounding snow-covered peaks provide an extraordinary backdrop.

At Khunjerab Pass, enjoy time to experience the dramatic high-altitude landscape and the Pakistan–China border before beginning the return journey towards Upper Hunza.

In the afternoon, continue exploring the landscapes and villages of Gojal. Visit Passu Glacier, surrounded by imposing Karakoram peaks and rugged mountain scenery. Continue to Borith Lake, a peaceful high-altitude lake offering beautiful views and a tranquil setting.

The journey then continues to the Passu Suspension Bridge and Hussaini Suspension Bridge, traditional suspension bridges crossing the Hunza River and offering striking views of the surrounding valleys.

Later, explore Gulmit and Ghulkin villages, where traditional houses, cultivated terraces, orchards and spring blossoms reflect the distinctive character of Upper Hunza. Visit the Gulmit Old House to learn about the traditional lifestyle and heritage of the Wakhi community.

Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay in Upper Hunza.

After breakfast, we leave Upper Hunza and travel towards Karimabad, the historic heart of Hunza Valley. The journey takes us through changing mountain landscapes, traditional settlements and orchards, with spring blossoms adding colour to the valley during the season.

En route, we visit Hopper Valley in Nagar District, a spectacular mountain valley known for its glaciers, rugged peaks and traditional villages. The valley offers impressive views of the surrounding mountains and the dramatic glacial landscape, providing a quieter experience away from the main tourist routes.

After exploring Hopper Valley and enjoying its spring scenery, continue towards Karimabad. As we approach central Hunza, the landscape changes to terraced fields, orchards and traditional villages beneath the towering Karakoram peaks.

Upon arrival in Karimabad, transfer to the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Take time to relax, explore the surroundings or enjoy the blossoming orchards and mountain views around the historic town.

Today is dedicated to exploring Karimabad, the cultural heart of Hunza Valley, where historic heritage, traditional village life, orchards and spectacular Karakoram scenery come together. During the spring season, the surrounding orchards and gardens are filled with blossoming fruit trees and spring flowers.

After breakfast, visit either Baltit Fort or Altit Fort, two of Hunza's most important historic landmarks. These remarkable forts reflect the history of the former Hunza Kingdom and offer magnificent views across the valley, surrounding peaks and blossom-filled villages.

Later, enjoy the Channel Walk, a peaceful trail following the traditional irrigation channels around Karimabad. The walk passes through orchards, traditional homes and cultivated areas, offering a closer look at everyday life in Hunza while providing beautiful views towards Rakaposhi and Ultar Sar.

In the afternoon, explore the Karimabad Bazaar, the lively local market where you can experience the everyday atmosphere of Hunza and browse traditional handicrafts, dried fruits, gemstones and local products.

Return to the hotel in the evening for a relaxing overnight stay in Karimabad.

After breakfast, we leave Karimabad and begin our journey south along the legendary Karakoram Highway, leaving the blossom-filled landscapes of Hunza behind as we travel towards Besham.

The route follows dramatic mountain scenery and the Indus River, passing through deep valleys, rugged mountains and traditional settlements. As we travel away from Hunza, enjoy the changing landscape and the final views of the Karakoram Mountains.

We make suitable stops along the route for photography and refreshments, with opportunities to appreciate the changing scenery of the Karakoram Highway. During spring, the lower valleys may still show blooming fruit trees, fresh greenery and spring flowers, providing a final reminder of the season experienced in Hunza.

Continue south through the mountainous Kohistan region before reaching Besham. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and relax after the day's scenic drive.

After breakfast, we leave Besham and begin the final leg of our journey towards Islamabad, travelling through the changing landscapes of northern Pakistan. Enjoy the remaining mountain and riverside scenery as we gradually leave the higher valleys behind.

En route, we make suitable stops for photography and lunch before continuing towards Taxila, one of South Asia's most important archaeological sites. Taxila was an important centre of learning and culture in the ancient Gandhara region and is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Visit Taxila Museum, which houses an important collection of Gandharan sculptures, coins, jewellery, pottery and other archaeological artefacts, providing an insight into the region's rich Buddhist and Gandharan heritage.

After the visit, continue towards Islamabad. Depending on your onward flight schedule, you may have time for a short city visit or proceed directly to the airport.
