- Domestic flights between Islamabad and Gilgit or Skardu are weather dependent and may occasionally be cancelled. If this occurs, we will continue the journey by road using the safest and most practical alternative route, with overnight stops adjusted accordingly.
- Road conditions in northern Pakistan may occasionally be affected by weather, landslides, maintenance work, or other unforeseen circumstances. Minor itinerary adjustments may be necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of all travellers.
- Wildlife sightings within Khunjerab National Park cannot be guaranteed, although species such as the Himalayan Ibex, Blue Sheep, Golden Marmot, and Golden Eagle are commonly seen.
- Mobile phone coverage and internet connectivity may be limited in remote parts of Ghizer District, Upper Hunza, and other high-mountain areas.
- Respect for local customs, traditions, and cultural values is appreciated when visiting villages, religious sites, historical monuments, and local communities.
- Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, baggage, flight delays, and trip interruptions is strongly recommended for all participants.

Requirements
- A passport with at least six months' validity is required for international travellers entering Pakistan.
- Most foreign travellers require a valid Pakistan tourist visa before arrival.
- Pakistan visa support documents can be provided where applicable, subject to nationality and tour arrangements.
- Hunza is a high-mountain destination, and altitude increases considerably when travelling from Karimabad towards Upper Hunza, Khunjerab Pass, Shimshal Valley, Chipurson Valley, and Misgar Valley.
- Travellers should allow time to adjust to altitude when travelling to higher areas.
- Weather conditions can change rapidly in the Karakoram, particularly at higher elevations.
- Road conditions can vary because of snowfall, landslides, rockfall, construction, weather, and seasonal closures.
- Access to remote valleys such as Shimshal, Chipurson, and Misgar may be affected by local road and weather conditions.
- The road to Khunjerab Pass is subject to weather, security, border and operational conditions. Access to the international border area is not guaranteed and remains subject to official regulations.
- Travellers should bring comfortable walking shoes suitable for village walks, forts, viewpoints, and uneven terrain.
- Warm layers and a waterproof outer layer are recommended even during Summer because mountain temperatures can change quickly.
- Sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and personal medication are recommended.
- Travellers should carry sufficient personal medication and inform Hunza Explorers of any mobility or dietary requirements before travel.
- Some sightseeing involves walking on uneven paths, stairs, village lanes, and historic structures.

- Spring, from March to April, is particularly popular for Hunza Cherry Blossom.
- Summer, from May to August, generally provides access to many of Hunza's higher valleys, subject to road and weather conditions.
- Autumn, from September to November, is known for its golden foliage and generally clear mountain scenery.
- Winter, from December to February, can bring snow, freezing temperatures, and restricted access to higher valleys.
