Upon your arrival at the Islamabad airport, our guide and driver will be waiting for you at the international arrival gate. Alternatively, if you are arriving at a different location than Islamabad airport, our guide and driver will meet you at your specified location. Once you have been warmly greeted by our staff, they will assist you in transferring to the hotel.
Let's begin our adventure by driving to Islamabad airport, where we'll catch a flight to Skardu. Upon arrival, we will immediately head out to explore the stunning Shigar Valley.
Our first stop will be the unique Cold Desert, where you can experience walking through the world’s highest cold desert. For those interested, we will also spend some time enjoying off-road driving on the sand dunes.
Next, we will visit the historical Shigar Fort, an architectural marvel that offers insights into the region's rich cultural heritage and breathtaking views of the valley.
Afterward, we’ll continue our journey towards Khaplu, where we will check in at the hotel. The rest of the evening will be at your leisure, allowing you to relax after a day of exploration.
After breakfast, we will depart from Khaplu and head towards the stunning Hushe Valley, one of the most scenic and remote areas in the Karakoram range.
On our way, we will stop at the historic Machulu Village, a traditional Balti settlement known for its rich cultural heritage and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. This village offers a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the locals, with its centuries-old stone houses, terraced fields, and lush orchards. We’ll take time to explore the village, interact with the local community, and appreciate the untouched beauty of the region.
After visiting Machulu, we’ll continue our journey to Hushe Valley. Upon arrival, we’ll explore this majestic valley, famous for its breathtaking views of the towering peaks of the Karakoram Range. Hushe is also the starting point for many renowned trekking expeditions, including routes to Mashabrum Base Camp. You can enjoy a peaceful walk through the village, take in the spectacular scenery, and immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we will begin our return journey to Skardu, making several scenic stops along the way to capture the beauty of the Indus River and the dramatic mountain landscapes.
Once we reach Skardu, we will check into the hotel. The evening will be at your leisure to relax, explore the local markets, or enjoy a quiet evening reflecting on the day’s adventures.
Today, we will embark on a day hike to Marsur. Marsur Rock, also known as Hussainabad Slab, is a remarkable rock formation located in the Hussainabad valley near Skardu city, Gilgit Baltistan. The rock measures 38 feet in length, stands about 25 feet tall, with only 13 feet visible above ground. It widens to 15 feet at the base and tapers to just two and a half feet at the top. This geological wonder remained undiscovered until 2017. Following its viral appearance on social media, it has become a popular destination for tourists. Marsur Rock is often referred to as the 'Bird's Eye Viewpoint of Skardu.' After spending some time admiring this natural marvel, we will trek back to the village and return to the hotel. If time permits and your legs are up for it, we may also explore the town in the evening.
Today, we are embarking on a journey to one of the most stunning valleys in Pakistan, known for its allure that attracts travelers from all around the world. This valley is renowned for its cherry blossoms, vibrant autumn colors, and as a haven for adventure enthusiasts seeking hiking, trekking, and mountaineering opportunities during the summer season.
Before we bid farewell to Skardu valley, we will make a stop at the mesmerizing upper Kachura Lake, allowing us to soak in its pristine beauty. Continuing our drive, we will make our way towards the captivating region of Hunza.
Along the way, we will pause at Continental Collides, an intriguing site that marks the ancient Silk Road, located at Chalt Nagar. We will also have the opportunity to admire the panoramic view of Rakaposhi from a viewpoint while enjoying a delightful lunch. Following our meal, we will resume our drive towards Hunza, where we will arrive and transfer to our hotel. Get ready to immerse yourself in the enchanting ambiance of this remarkable destination.
Today, our itinerary takes us on a fascinating journey through Passu Glacier, Borith Lake, Gulmit Village, and Ghulkin Village. Get ready for a day filled with natural wonders, cultural exploration, and captivating sights.
We start the day with a hike to Ondra Fort in Gulmit, then proceed to Ghulkin village via Kamaris village. We will spend some time taking photos in the villages. Afterward, we will hike to Borith Lake (village) via the Ghulkin glacier, where we'll have lunch. Following lunch, we will drive to the zeropoint (Shahabad) borith and embark on a short hike to Passu glacier. After spending some time here, we will hike back and return to the hotel in Gulmit/Shishkat.
Today is a day to fully enjoy the nature with trekking. We start the day with the long but easy trek to Passu suspension bridge. This bridge is not touristy like Hussaini bridge and it provides dramatic view over the mountains and river. After crossing the bridge, we continue to trek to the farmland of Passu village where you can see herds of cows/sheeps grazing on farmland with the background of snow-capped mountain.
After the trek (around 3-4 hours), we go back to village for lunch. After lunch, we take a light trek around Ghulkin village with many beautiful viewpoints to admire the Passu Cones (the symbolic mountain in upper Hunza). From Ghulkin, we continue the trek to Kamaris, Gulmit and back to Ghulkin in the evening.
Today's journey takes us to the heart of Hunza, either to Karimabad or Duiker. But before we arrive at our destination, we're in for a day of exploration and discovery.
Our first stop is the breathtaking Attabad Lake. Its serene blue waters are truly a sight to behold. Next up, we'll visit the Sacred Rocks of Hunza, a place rich in history and stories.
Our adventure continues as we make our way to Hopper Valley. Here, we'll get to see a glacier and enjoy the stunning scenery that surrounds us. In the afternoon, we'll head to either Karimabad or Duiker.
But before we check into our hotel, there's more to explore. We'll take a detour to Ganish Valley, one of the oldest villages in Hunza. It's a day filled with natural beauty, history, and culture that you won't forget.
Today, our exploration takes us to the heart of Hunza, where we will discover the cultural and natural gems of this remarkable region. Our first stop will be at the renowned Batit Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site (tentative list). Immerse yourself in the rich history and architectural grandeur of this ancient fortress. We will then proceed to the Royal Garden, where you can revel in the beauty of meticulously manicured landscapes and vibrant blooms. Continuing our journey, we will visit the Altit Fort, an impressive structure that offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. As the evening approaches, we will take a leisurely walk to the Duiker sunset point, where you will be treated to a breathtaking spectacle as the sun sets behind the majestic mountains, casting hues of orange and gold across the Hunza landscape. It will be an unforgettable day filled with cultural wonders and natural beauty.
After breakfast, we will begin our journey to Besham via the Karakoram Highway. As we drive along the Indus River, we will make stops at key points of interest, including the Junction Point of the Three Great Mountain Ranges and the Nanga Parbat Viewpoint, where you can take in the breathtaking mountain scenery.
Following our sightseeing, we will have an early lunch in Chilas before continuing our drive through the scenic Kohistan Valley. If the Babusar Pass is open, we will take the opportunity to travel through the beautiful Naran Valley, offering stunning views of lush landscapes and alpine scenery.
Upon reaching Besham or Naran, we will transfer to the hotel for the night, allowing you to relax and unwind after the day’s journey.
We will embark on our return journey to Islamabad, where we will have the opportunity to explore Islamabad. Before reaching Islamabad, we will make a stop at the Taxila Museum. Immerse yourself in the rich history and archaeological treasures of this ancient site, gaining insights into the region's past civilizations.
In the evening, we will ensure that you reach the airport in a timely manner, allowing you to catch your flight. Alternatively, if your flight is scheduled for the morning or noon, we will drop you at the airport at least 3 hours prior to your departure time. Rest assured; our dedicated services will conclude with your safe arrival at the airport.
