Broghil Festival annually held in Baroghol – a valley 13,000 feet above sea level located at the junction of Chitral, Wakhan and Tajikistan. Wakhan corridor- a narrow strip of Badakhshan province of Afghanistan between Pakistan and Tajikistan can be viewed from this beautiful valley.
Various activities, including horse and yak polo, cricket, football, Buzkashi, marathon race, tug-of-war, wrestling, music and other traditional games were part of the festival.
Arrival in Islamabad, our guide and driver will meet you at the international/domestic arrival of Islamabad international airport, or the location inside Islamabad or Rawalpindi, after meeting with staff drive to the hotel in Islamabad.
Drive to Chitral, today’s drive will be a bit long but very exciting, en-route we will stop at the beautiful pasthon villages of lower and upper Dir and cross the Lowari tunnel/pass to enter in the Chitral district where we will cross many villages along the way. Arrive in Chitral Town and transfer to the hotel
Drive to Mastuj in upper Chitral, En-route we will explore Bunni and other villages of upper Chitral. Arrival in Mastuj and transfer to the hotel for overnight.
Drive to Ishkarwaz, Broghil, short stops en-route for photography.

Drive back to Mastuj, arrive and explore around.
Drive back to Chitral, arrive in Chitral and explore the town.
Drive to Peshawar, en-route we will stop at Lowari Pass, explore lower and upper Dir. Arrive in Peshawar and transfer to the hotel.
Explore Peshawar in the morning, in the afternoon drive to Islamabad, arrive in Islamabad and visit Shah Faisal Mosque and Pakistan monument.
Depending on the flight time, if it is in the evening, we will explore the twin city “Rawalpindi & Islamabad”, later drive to the airport. Our service ends here, you will fly to your destination.
Broghil festival has not any fixed date, however it is held in September every year.
Broghil is a remote valley located at in Chitral, the elevations range from between 3,280 m (10,760 ft) at the village of Kishmanjah to 4,304 m (14,121 ft) at Karambar Lake in the northeast. Warm cloths are must to carry.
