Best Time for Mountaineering in Pakistan

The best climbing season depends on the mountain, route and type of expedition.

For many major Karakoram expeditions, the principal climbing season generally falls during the summer months, particularly from June to August, although conditions and expedition windows vary significantly from year to year.

Mountains in the Himalayas and Hindu Kush may have different seasonal conditions. Some lower and mid-altitude peaks can also offer climbing opportunities during spring or autumn.
